Kids' Trail Daiting

Im ehemaligen Steinbruch Daiting ist eine Wand mit Plattenkalken aufgeschlossen. Es sind mehrere Besucher des Lehrpfades zu sehen.

Along the Kids‘ Trail of the Geotope Daiting, the two Geopark mascots “Suevie” and “Riesie” explain in an entertaining and easy-to-understand way how the landscape in the UNESCO Global Geopark Ries was formed and what treasures emerge from it. There are all kinds of amazing things to learn about exciting topics such as Celts and knights, fossils and iron, sheep and trees.

The Kids‘ Trail runs along the four-kilometer-long “short route“ for adults, so that visitors of all ages can enjoy the tour together. The Kids’ Trail is designed for children from about five to twelve years and is freely available to all curious, adventurous, outdoorsy visitors.
